Izzy Lizzy
This sweet little black cat was obviously living rough when she cleverly
set up camp in the garden of one of our foster homes. She was very thin,
bedraggled and being plagued by local toms!!
We quickly got her spayed and she is currently living in the foster home.
She was very scared at first but has quickly realised we wont hurt her and
now just a little timid with new people/things. We are certain she has never
been a feral - just abandoned or lost and has had a really bad time.
She was adopted out but came back to us within a few days as her new owners
were not experienced enough to know that she needed some time to get to know
them and that she does like to have her freedom to go outside if she wishes
(obviously she will have to be kept indoors for a short time to let her
settle).
She may hide away for a while but she does purr and enjoy being picked up
and loved.
If you feel you are able to cope with this type of cat and you know how
worthwhile it when they start to trust you, please contact her foster home
on 07789 003 805 (as with most of us this lady does work and the phone may
have to be turned off sometimes, please pereserve/txt and we will txt back
with a good time to ring)
We ask for a minimum donation of £30 for cats, without money donations we
cannot pay for neutering, other vet fees, or even food etc. All our foster
carers give their homes and time for free therefore please be patient if you
cannot get through at first.
Rescue Rangers reserve the right to carry out home visits before/after you
adopt any animal from us.
This cat WILL NOT be suitable as a house-cat.
