Before you lose your heart to one (or more)
of our dogs or puppies please be aware of the
responsibility you undertake when you adopt any animal, we only want the
best for our dogs and puppies and this includes
them being neutered at 5-6 months old, we must be 110% sure you will arrange
this with your vet.
You must be around for most of the day
if you are adopting a young
puppies
as they need feeding every few hours and they need company as well.
So if you work full time please consider an older
dog.
Dogs are not cheap pets, we ask
for a donation when you
adopt a dog or puppy but it will cost you around
£50-60 for neutering plus of course any other vet bills, flea treatment,
worming, kennel fees, obviously
dog food and repairs to your home such as
ripped suites/curtains/wallpaper etc.
Dogs will scratch and sometimes bite in play and so they are not good
pets with young children.
Please be sure you can keep a dog for the rest of it's
natural life (at least 15 years hopefully), consider now what you will do if
you - have a new baby, move house, get a new partner who
isn't keen on animals or simply get fed
with it.
If you feel up to the challenge and are considering adopting one of these
lovely dogs please contact us and have a chat,
we can then put you in touch with their foster
mum.
Please be patient if the phone is not
answered sometimes, unfortunately no-one pays me for this and so I have to
go to work occasionally!!
Rescue Rangers reserve the right to carry out a home visit before or after
you adopt any animal from us.
