Before you lose your heart to one (or more)
of our cats or kittens please be aware of the
responsibility you undertake when you adopt any animal, we only want the
best for our cats and kittens and this includes
them being neutered at 5-6 months old, we must be 110% sure you will arrange
this with your vet.
You must be around for most of the day
if you are adopting a young kitten
as they need feeding every few hours and they need company as well.
So if you work full time please consider an
older cat.
Cats are not cheap pets, we only ask for a minimum £25 donation when you
adopt a cat or kitten but it will cost you around
£50-60 for neutering plus of course any other vet bills, flea treatment,
worming, cattery fees, obviously cat food and repairs to your home such as
ripped suites/curtains/wallpaper etc.
Kittens will scratch and sometimes bite in play and so they are not good
pets with young children.
Please be sure you can keep a cat for the rest of it's
natural life (at least 15 years hopefully), consider now what you will do if
you - have a new baby, move house, get a new partner who
isn't keen on cats or simply get fed up of a cat which brings dead
creatures and mud into your home!! These are all reasons people have given
for getting rid of their pets.
If you feel up to the challenge and are considering adopting one of these
lovely kittens please contact us and have a chat,
we can then put you in touch with their foster
mum.
Please be patient if the phone is not
answered sometimes, unfortunately no-one pays me for this and so I have to
go to work occasionally!!
Also homes on main/ busy roads are only suitable for house-cats.
Rescue Rangers reserve the right to carry out a home visit before or after
you adopt any cat/kitten from us.
